Prayer Requests – August 16, 2010

I have recently relocated to a new place and find it very difficult. I am extremely sad and am unable to face life. I am unable to pray and understand the Lord’s plan for me. At times I wonder I did a mistake by coming here. I am also finding it difficult to get a good place to stay according to my budget. Please pray for me and my family. There are govt hostels but a lot of formalities are included, since I am new I am unable to do any thing. ~Nisha

God heal Khanyisile she has been sick for 8 months she can’t walk &she can’t talk,please pray for her &she need a strong pray, pastors of the world I’m asking you to join me in prayer for that young lady under the words of nothing impossible to God. ~Thembi

This week I should be finding out if my children were accepted into headstart. I am wishing for prayer on this they need school and I dont have the funding to put them into a private….I want my children to start to have a good education…please help in prayer or my children and the school. ~Amanda

I really need prayer for my husband to come to terms with his anger and the way he treats me and his children. The devil has taken him down a path I hate to see him on and tends to snap and not care about anything or anyone. He never recognizes his faults and decides to put everything on me and he just takes off. Please I ask for so many prayers it goes a lot deeper in this and I just ask for all who can pray for him to receive christ as his lord and savior to take the anger and recognize the things he does and says and how evil and nasty they are and to know its not right. ~Amanda

Dear friends, I have been having the most difficult past few weeks. Things are falling apart around my home and requiring financial difficulties. I got a very bad bladder infection last week. I am about to finish my meds, but my back is still hurting and pain is moving up. I am a single mother and have no family here. I can’t afford to miss work and have nobody else to care for my kids, i can not get more ill. I need strength and faith for God to take care of it all. ~Heather

My wife and I are married for 5 yrs.We don’t have children.In the middle of infertility treatment she left me suddenly and went to her parents home without any specific reason.We never had a serious fight over anything.I tried to reconcile. But didn’t workout.One day thru a lawyer she informed me that she wanted mutual consent divorce.I was deeply shocked. Unwillingly I had to sign the divorce petition.The first phase of the divorce is over and court has given us 6 mnths time for reconciliation.I love her very much.I’m still trying for reconciliation.But her attitude is negative.Her parents are also supporting for divorce.Please pray for my wife and her parents to change their minds and for the restoration of our marriage in Jesus name. ~Ran

My wife of 29 years has another man in her life. I am struggling with pain and worry. Please pray for us and for her that God opens her eyes and reveils the truth about the man and what she is doing and my love for her. ~Gary

First, I want to thank God for His blessings, protection, and grace. I do need His miraculous favor in my life. I want to say and witness without reservation what He has done, is doing and will do for me the ones I hold close. Please pray for my physical health, financial strength, spiritual life, and the ability to properous, wise and successful in the work that I do. I need encouragement. Please pray for me as Im taking early retirement, last day to work in end of August. I pray that I always be in Gods will and plans, never to regret taking this step of not working. I am a single parent that has lost many things over the past two years..Except my faith.. I am 8+ mos pregenant with my 4th child. I am so torn about raising this child as a single parent or placing her for adoption.. My other children have a great relationship with my ex-husband their father. This babies father and I were together for 10 months (not a good 10 mos) God blessed me with this baby to get me out of an abusive, unhealthy environment.. But I’m not certain of his intentions for who is to parent her. I pray for clarity everyday and need it soon as she will be here any day..As a loving mother and a greatful one at that, I’m scarred of the significant loss that will be felt by my children and the insecurities in could breed in them, to know I gave a sibling away.. Please pray for me, the baby and the rest of my family that I will know Gods will…. ~Carly

I know a lot of people dont agree with immigration reform but I know some people who need this to happen for them. I know a mother with 3 kids who could use better work and who could use a better place to live and I know a guy who is just waiting for the chance to do something with his life, he wants to be a firefighter. My brother lives in WA., he has cancer for about four months. It is his liver that has cancer, this week is his last chemo therapy cause the doctor there’s nothing else they can do cause the cancer is spreading really fast. My husband and I been praying for him ever since, we believe that there are many works for my brother, the healing hands of God has never shorten but we have faith that God can heal him and give him a new liver, please pray for my brother, his name is Jubilee. ~Aouliulisau

My sister has brain cancer and is now under the care of Hospice in a nursing home. Please pray that she may have a peaceful death and that the good Lord gives our family the strength required to deals with this, especially my mother ~karen

I ask for prayer for my family,money situations and job situations. My husbands father and stepfather are having surgery in the next couple of weeks, along with the fact that his grandfather is in an assisted living and having health problems as well. I also have been out of work since May, and am in desperate need of direction on exactly what to do; with 3 kids and not enough income to pay for childcare, i need specific hours to accomidate their care. Also, my husbands job is very stressful, and with money situations tight, that dosen’t help. I know that God has a plan for us, but we are in desperate need of direction on how to handle all of these situations. I ask that you pray for peace throughout and comfort for all ~SLL
