Prayer Requests – September 1, 2010

Our church really needs prayer. We have become so liberal, we look like any other social club. Our attendance is really down and I can understand why. We have lost our joy. I don’t know whether to find another church or stay. ~JoAnne

Please pray for the courts to find Raymond not guilty of a publication for a conflict of interest story on a crooked Sherriff..From 1999. This man is elderly and such a good stewart for God!! He blesses so many people in his life! In Jesus name we pray. AMEN! Thank You Jesus! ~Laura

I am requesting that I be remembered in your prayers regarding the financial difficulties that I am facing which I fully understand that only God knows. I owe people and places money and am finding it difficult to pay. I request that in your prayers that I have these payments done before the end of the year. There are certain ones that are needed to be paid by September and October. I pray that you will help me to ask God to show the way and what to do to have these debts paid. Thank you. ~Esther

I feel very angry and I want to ask God for help with this. Trouble is, I am angry with Him. I have fought an addiction for 25 years and have not been able to get more than a month or two of sobriety. I have tried everything, been part of every type of recovery group, and done every kind of bible study. I have offered up 1,000 prayers (maybe 2,000) and I am tired and discouraged. I know that the key may lie in “eating of His body” – being in community that is – but I keep ending up with wonderful people in my life along with “thorns in the side” folks which make me leave the community after months, years of trying to make it work with these thorns. Help. An angry young man. ~Wayne

Please pray for healing for myself, my daughter and my husband. God knows the issues we are dealing with and we have stuggled for a long time so I ask for a quick turn around and a sign from Him that healing is being manifested in my family. ~Kathy

My husband and I are in great financial need. I am working a part time job at a Christian Store (I am 75) and doing Mary Kay. We have cut cornors every way we can. I love where the Lord is taking us because I am trusting HIM for everything. But some times Satan tries to put worry and fear into my mind. Please pray I keep my eyes and heart on Jesus regardless of my situation. ~Sue

My friend Chris is tortured by the devil of addition. He is handing himself over to rehab again today. Please pray for him and his family that they may all find peace and understand that only with the help of our Lord and Savior will this devil be lifted from his life. Please help Chris understand that the only real life here on earth is through the love and salvation of Our Lord. ~Diane

Please pray for us children of Jesus to be good and loving towards another to be of service to others and expect not to recive all the time bt to give and be greatful. Please pray that the Lord sends me customers were I sell cars if He sends them I can sell them a car I am a good car salesman but no one is even looking at cars Please pray for me and my wife and 5 Children that I sell a lot this week. Thank You God Bless ~Gary
