Wow, got this morning from my son the bible verse of the day and it inspired me like this;

Yesterday evening I was praying about Zimbabwe, Mugabe, crying about the embarrassing things I read and see on TV etc. and asking the Lord why is Mugabe still on His throne? I just wanna have a insight view on this process and how to change this situation This morning I got an Email from Maurits with a bible verse of the day. Read this amazing verses, in particular verse 21:

Passage Daniel 2:19-23:
19 That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven. 20 He said,“Praise the name of God forever and ever,for he has all wisdom and power. 21 He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. 22 He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light. 23 I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded.”

Lets continue to pray that the Lord will do this and plead on His own Word and show Him His own Word also from Deuteronomy 33:26-28:

Passage Deuteronomy 33:26-28:

26 “There is no one like the God of Israel.[a] He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor. 27 The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’ 28 So Israel will live in safety, prosperous Jacob in security, in a land of grain and new wine, while the heavens drop down dew.

May the good Lord bless Zimbabwe and their beautiful people. Evry day I am astonished about His mighty Word. Again and again, its so powerful. We just have to show Him His own Word and the rest is for Him. He is able, I know my dear dear Lord is able!! I know!!!

thanks im really trying to restore my faith in lord in a way that i am pleased with myself and life. Also in a way to were I know he is pleased with me. Im kinda young and will admit I do not attend church. I not proud of it but Im changing in a big way to the point that now I can admit it an actually see a problem. I would love to start my day out every morning with a word of HOPE instead a word of horescope. THANK YOU AND HAVE A BLESSD DAY.

It is not easy to get an inspiring verse yet with verse of the day I find full inspiration all the time.
These verses are relevant for the day all days. Its an addiction I don’t desire to overcome; the word of God.

You guys continue the inspiration it is the unity by the WORD, then FAITH, the HOLY SPIRIT and the BAPTISM. We are household beings in God’s mansion.

We are therefore required to be the rich soils, which after receiving the seed, provide the excellent condition s for it to grow and bear fruits.

what blessing it is to start a day with a word from the Holy bible. And God is so wonderful, to me in most cases, the verses I receive daily explans the situation that I am passing through. When I get into my office, the first thing I pray to start a day with God then I go directly to my mail to read the bible verse. Thirdly, I forward it to my colleagues. It has reached a point, if I forget fowarding, they remind me until I do. This signify how they are also blessed. May God bless this good job.

Hello all. I’d like to think I am a strong CHRISTian, but I fail so many times. I feel so guilty that at times I think GOD is not gonna want me anymore. I love receiving the word everyday, it’s health for my soul, mind, body and spirit. My mantra is from 2 Chronicles 20:15&17
“the Lord says that you must not be discouraged to face this large army, You will not have to fight this battle. Just take up your positions and wait;you will see the Lord give you victory. People of Judah and Jerusalem, do not hesitate or be afraid. Go out to battle and the Lord will be with you”. Life is an everyday battle in small and big ways but I know I’m never alone. all I need is my faith in Our father and He does everything else. Let’s never turn away form the Words of Life!

It’s about 3am and I couldn’t sleep…and I felt the promptings of reading a verse from the bible. Instead of grabbing the bible from my nightstand, I decided to grab my phone and started to google for a bible verse and one of the search results is this site offering a daily bible verse directly to our email. I thank you John for doing this…you have reached out to a lot of people to grow closer to the Lord. May God bless you more.

I have been depressed for a while and I’m trying to keep myself focused to the faithfulness of the Lord which is why I’m trying to fight this negative feeling. I’ll continue to hang on to His word for He is my Almighty Creator.

James, I don’t usually post to these forums, but felt nudged to respond to you with just a few thoughts, and hopefully some encouragement:

Scriptures are full of God’s promises that He will NEVER forsake us, so if we’re feeling distant from God, it’s usually that we’ve somehow distanced ourselves from Him. The scriptures are also full of His promises that if we earnestly seek Him, and do our best to live by His teachings, that He will honor those attempts, and help us to grow in our faith and understanding.

And remember also that we are NEVER alone – even though we often have a hard time seeing God’s hand at work, or we don’t perceive His presence, He is ALWAYS there, waiting for us to turn to Him.

I am trying to build a relationship with the Lord and work on talking to him (and praying for him) more often, not just when things are going bad in life. My fiance just called our August wedding “off” so we can go to couples therapy and “if” we can work things out then we’ll keep the date but just knowing that I’ve been lying to friends and myself about whats going on has been incredibly stressful on my body and mind. It’s the best feeling in the world to get a Bible verse sent to you by email and it speaks directly to what is bothering you or what you’re struggling with. Further reassurance that God always speaks to us, we just have to listen. The Lord has recently answered my prayers after going through a very hard time in my life.
